Connell Wagner Pty Ltd. Innovation in the detailing of the glass wall. The aesthetic content of the glass wall connected well with the canopy/interior design of the foyer. Overall context – excellent.

Morris-Nunn & Associates Pty Ltd. The lightweight timber structure gives a sense of warmth and lightness. The structure has an excellent synthesis with the existing buildings. A craftsman-like approach is taken to the detailing of composite elements.

Connell Wagner Pty Ltd. A finely detailed tectonic structure. Excellent urban concept differentiating from existing buildings giving a strong sense of focus. The visual simplicity of the structure is achieved without cross-bracing using an innovative system.

Shade Structures Pacific Pty Ltd. Theatrical use of tension structures with a high degree of demountability. Gives the appearance of permanency but can be demounted quickly.
4099 Hong Kong Institute of Education Removable Canopy Citation of Merit
Structurflex Limited. An excellent example of a tension structure revitalising an external space. A minimum of materials are used and with efficient design of the structural systems to meet the design loads. Very well integrated with existing buildings.
