Media Release Statement
This Bower Tree dining precinct in Sippy Downs exemplifies the essence of lightweight structures, celebrating its transformative design and construction of the striking aluminium façade screens, showcasing Fabritecture's expertise in marrying aesthetic innovation with functional excellence.
Engaged to create a unique façade screen, Fabritecture delivered a comprehensive design-to-implementation service, encompassing prototyping, samples, engineering, fabrication, and on-site construction. The design features intricate curved panels made from perforated aluminium, which gracefully envelop the building's main structure. Complementing this, flat perforated panels were employed for the parking structure, producing a contemporary and visually captivating result that enhances the architectural presence of the venue.
The Bower Tree project required a sophisticated structural system, utilising a steel frame bolstered by strategically placed L brackets and anti-vibration packers. Panels were installed with precision, ensuring stability and structural integrity. The geometric form of the façade not only pleases the eye but also efficiently handles dynamic loads and varying ground conditions.
Materials were selected with care to balance aesthetic appeal and durability. The façade features Colorbond Aries curved perforated aluminium panels, known for their lightweight yet sturdy properties, while the car park screens maintain visual consistency and functional ventilation.
Fabritecture’s fabrication process was marked by meticulous attention to detail, including quality checks, on-site inspections, and careful transport of materials. This thorough approach ensured a pristine finish and minimised potential issues.
Collaboration was key to the project’s success, with Fabritecture working seamlessly with Paynters and other trades to achieve the desired architectural elegance.
