Tensioned membrane structures have become an important structural form for both large span roof structures as well as for smaller covered areas which also serve as an architectural statement. IFAI has rebranded its 2013 Expo to more closely align with traditional textile markets and to serve the growth and demand for advanced textiles.

The IFAI Specialty Fabrics Expo 2013 and new Advanced Textiles Conference & Trade Show will be held October 23 – 25 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

As an added bonus, IFAI is co-locating with the Specialty Graphics Imaging Association, SGIA Expo 2013.

LSAA STA

Specialised Textiles Association 2014 Expo

The LSAA is combining with the Specialized Textiles Association to bring you a combined trade expo supported by conference presentations.

The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza in the Hunter Valley NSW from May 31 to June 2 2014.

The traditional STA Trade Expo will be different in that the Exhibition area will only be "open" from 11am to 2pm. Outside of these times, several parallel Conference Sessions will take place.

The LSAA will be giving a structured and educational series of presentations over two days covering "Tensioned Fabric Structures" - Australian History, Design Principles, Materials, Applications, Basic Engineering Understanding and Lessons to be Learnt.
