The CTBUH 2017 Tall Buildings Conference to be held in Sydney from October 30 to November 3 2017 is expected to attract over 1000 delegates from about 45 countries.

The age of the tall building as a single iconic piece of sculpture, standing in isolation from its surroundings, must now come to an end. We have a responsibility to ensure that these permanent urban structures engender a future-oriented urban response to the greatest challenges of our time: unprecedented population growth; mass urbanization; climate change; environmental degradation; social, political and economic change; and the rapid advance of myriad technical innovations.
Next February and March (2019) the ABCB will be conducting informative seminars in a capital city near you.

Specialised Textiles Association 2014 Expo
The LSAA is combining with the Specialized Textiles Association to bring you a combined trade expo supported by conference presentations.
The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza in the Hunter Valley NSW from May 31 to June 2 2014.
The traditional STA Trade Expo will be different in that the Exhibition area will only be "open" from 11am to 2pm. Outside of these times, several parallel Conference Sessions will take place.
The LSAA will be giving a structured and educational series of presentations over two days covering "Tensioned Fabric Structures" - Australian History, Design Principles, Materials, Applications, Basic Engineering Understanding and Lessons to be Learnt.
